Our client is well established bank in Montreal. They are looking for a Sr. Java Developer-Guidewire Claim Center. This is a 6 Months contract with strong possibility of extension. Job description: Ø As a member of a development team, designs and develops new applications and services, or integrates them, depending on the nature of the projects. Ø Makes the necessary corrections and improvements to ensure the development of existing applications. Ø Complies with current norms and standards, and uses appropriate methods. Ø Works on relatively complex applications with minimal supervision and enjoys some autonomy. Main tasks require good judgment. Key responsibilities: Ø Designs, codes, tests and debugs relatively complex applications and develops their environments. Ø Appropriately documents the code by applying current norms and standards. Ø Writes/updates documentation (deliverables) according to current methods. Ø Analyzes the code and problems pertaining to the logic of existing systems.
