Location: Montreal, QC Duration: 6 months contract with possibility of extension Job Description: We are currently looking for an Analyst or BI. Responsibilities: Primarily responsible for the functional analysis including the development of transformation rules required to load the data warehouse and drafting deliverables according to the methodology in place: • Requires system and functional specifications. • Collaborates with specialists to bring to the functional specifications of the optimum technical solutions. • Participates in impact assessments and detailed estimates; • Participates in the testing strategy; • Supports the development team during the implementation phase. • Defines and documents the functional test cases; • Participates in the preparation of necessary test environments; • Participates, supports and documents the functional testing; • Supports the implementation of changes to the data warehouse and DataMart; • During implantation, available for overtime as required; • Dealings with operations teams (DBA, Control-M, Unix Admin, etc.). • Participates in all stages of the development cycle solutions of the data warehouse. MUST HAVES: • Experience with Oracle tools (Designer, Oracle Warehouse Builder); • Master SQL and PL / SQL; • Knowledge of SAS is an asset; • TOAD knowledge is an asset; • Good knowledge of modeling star; • Good knowledge of Oracle database; • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the development and evolution of a data warehouse; • Marked ability for research and evaluation
