The Localization Tester will be responsible for the Language integration testing of a title. Mandatory Skills: - Fluency in target native language - Excellent oral and written language skills - Same degree of mastery of the English language - Able to commute to the office in downtown Montreal (no remote work) Specific responsibilities: § Plays through the game, verifying text and audio on all game modes § Verifies the text strings (when provided by client) for the entire title § Ensures all of the text and audio fits the context of gameplay § Runs Test Cases and enters Localization Bug Reports into the bug tracking Database § Makes corrections to localized text in order to: § Avoid text overruns § Ensure proper grammar § Comply with cultural and regional appropriateness § Target the accurate audience in the appropriate tone § Helps ensure that all compliance related messages are properly localized and in accordance with the console manufacturers' requirements and guidelines § Provides translations when required In your application, please include the following: - Your native language - If you have a visa to work in Canada, please note the expiration date - If you are looking for Part-Time or Full-Time employment - When you are available to begin” Please contact Lauren Mandelker at [email protected]
