My client is a well-established bank, situated in Montreal, QC. They are looking for Bilingual Fraud Officer. This is a 6 month contract with a strong possibility of extension based on performance. Job Description: • Analyze fraudulent behavior/transactions to determine root cause of losses and perform analysis on customer accounts to identify potential fraudulent operations. • Review output of fraud detection system and other sources and use information to determine steps needed to be taken by customers, Lenders and credit operations as well as liaising with Investigation team, Recovery team, branches and Corporate Security as needed. • Provide excellent customer service • Work schedule: Sunday to Thursday: Sunday 12:00 – 8:00 & Weekday: 12:00pm-8:00pm or 4:00pm-11:30pm • Flexibility to cover for vacation/sickness Sunday to Thursday – 7am – 11:30 pm Weekends – 7am-8pm Required Skills: • Minimum 2-4 years of industry experience • Prefer someone who has previous fraud detection experience in a bank or financial institute • Experience dealing with facilities and premises • Excellent communication skills (English & French) • Expert level PC skills (MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoi
