Looking for couriers Job Description Couriers are responsible for transporting specimens, supplies, and reports in an efficient, dependable, punctual, proper, safe and professional manner. Customer Focus, Accountability, Respect and Excellence are demonstrated in all activities. Detailed Description: ? Deliver all reports and supplies promptly to the correct address; pick up and transport specimens following designated route schedule and using proper containers. ? Set priorities on route and schedule when necessitated by weather and/or traffic conditions. ? Transport URGENTS in a timely manner and ensure receiving staff are aware of its arrival. ? Perform assigned activities according to current policies and procedures. ? Recognize discrepancies and incidents, take appropriate action and escalate accordingly. ? Represent the company as the main point of contact with the client. ? Be attentive to clients? needs and concerns, notify appropriate contacts as necessary. ? Maintain confidentiality involving any information made available directly or indirectly about clients including physicians, patients, employees and the company. ? Be fully conversant with pertinent emergency, breakdown and accident procedures. ? Circle check vehicle daily; regularly check all fluid levels; clean interior and exterior of the vehicle on a regular basis. Job Requirements: ? High School diploma ? Must maintain a good driving record ? Minimum 3 years driving experience ? Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external clients ?
