Location: Montreal or Toronto Canada Sales Territory: Quebec & the Maritime Provinces (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, etc.) Benefits: Yes Responsibilities of Position: This is a new position. We need an engineer with experience in the territory in customer interaction or sales with pipe or similar. The primary responsibility of this position is to open and develop markets for products by obtaining approval / acceptance for their use in design and construction specifications at the national, provincial, regional, city, and municipal levels, as well as with engineering and consulting firms. The primary product emphasis is on pipe for use on storm drainage applications, but also includes sanitary pipe, Stormtech chambers, Nyloplast structures, and water quality devices Experience Required: 1. Canadian citizenship & lives in the territory. 2. Bachelor?s degree in civil engineering or related. 3. Registered professional engineer. 4. Bilingual ? Fluent in speaking/writing English & French. 5. Minimum 5 years sales or customer interaction experience in construction or engineering involving pipe or similar. 6. Experience within the engineer and public works community in the territory. Essential Functions: * Travel (1-2 overnights per week) * Product knowledge * Presentation of products to government and specifying agencies * Develop markets for our products * Work with engineering and consulting firms * Provide technical support to sales team Position Qualifications / Requirements: * Canadian citizenship & lives in the territory * Bachelor?s degree in civil engineering * Registered professional engineer * Bilingual ?
