His work is being showcased throughout the season at the OSM. Répons, the flagship event in this special cycle, will be performed for the first time ever by the OSM. One of the most significant contemporary compositions, this fascinating work presents an arresting exploration of the links that bind sound and space. For the occasion, conducting duties have been entrusted to Peter Eötvös, former music director of the Ensemble Intercontemporain founded by Boulez, who was his teacher.
