[email protected] Our client is well established bank seeking a Sr. AS400/ RPG Developer/ Support- Insurance Industry Location: Montreal, QC.Duration: 6 months contract with strong possibility of extension - Support the technical problems of production environment business applications (auto, residential Claim Centre, etc..)
- Responsible for supporting IT operations, claims management suites ,production problems, and data for applications built on different platforms
Must have:
Programming AS400 - RPG ILE - NO COBOL
Good knowledge of structured programming (RPG IV) on the System i
Good knowledge of programming language concepts and the RPG THE ISLAND (modules, service program, procedure)
Able to support (Port pager) - Support batch treatment outside working hours (pager) to one week per month. Anticipated volume: 1-4 Call

Ø Controlling at least one specialty and be familiar with another: client-server, system or i have a good knowledge of an application or software (ie Guidewire Claim Center).
