My client is a well-established bank located in Montreal, QC. They are looking for a Reconciliation Clerk (major bank and strong Excel exp required).
This is 2 months contract with the strong possibility of extension.
Job Description:
This group is responsible for reconciliation activities of approximately 8000 customer accounts.
Responsibilities include:
Process specialized transactions
Input data in to an in-house system
Look for discrepancies as well as investigations and reconciliations
Provide a high level of customer service by interacting with personnel from various institutions
to correct transaction/trading activity related issues concerning settlement of transactions
Perform other administrative functions as required
Skills/Education:
2+ years of reconciliations experience (absolute must)
Accounting background (CFA would be ideal but not required)
New Accounting graduates with the right attitude are welcome
Expert level with Excel & Excel Macros
Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
Bilingual preferred but not required (English is a must)
Proactive thinker
