Duration: 6 months contract with strong possibility of further extension Location: Montreal, QC As part of a project for the improvement and updating of their systems, the research manager with experience 3 analysts who are already know Guidewire Claim Center version 5, 6 or 7. (minimum 6 months)This is a project duration of approximately 1 year
Travel expenditures will be reimbursed.
Description
Ø As a member of a development team, designs and develops new applications and services, or integrates them, depending on the nature of the projects.
Ø Has an overall view of required developments, and is responsible for software design development (segmentation, sequence diagrams and class diagrams).
Ø Is responsible for the implementation of norms and standards within his team, and for compliance with best practices.
Ø supports the developers. Determines the optimal progression of activities while taking into account technical restrictions and deadlines.
Ø Acts as technical project coordinator.
Ø Monitors the development of best practices and new technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Ø Writes/updates documentation (deliverables) according to current methods.
Ø Is familiar with current norms and standards, ensures they are respected and used correctly, encourages their modification when required, and reviews the code for projects.
Ø Is familiar with the existing infrastructure and common services.
Ø Understands the functional components of projects.
Has an overall view of the systems developed.
Ø May conduct complex impact analyses.
