This course teaches Health Care Providers to recognize and treat emergencies such as sudden cardiac arrest, heart attack, stroke and choking. The following core material is addressed: Automated External Defibrillator - including two-rescuer scenarios (AED). Adult, Child and Pediatric CPR (including two- rescuer scenarios). Pulse checks. Use of Bag Valve Masks. Use of Pocket Masks or Face Shield. Obstructed Airway Maneuvers for Adults, Child and Pediatric - Both conscious and unconscious victims. Prevention, Recognition and Treatment - Angina, Heart Attack, TIA and Stroke. Customized Emergency Procedures for Health Care Providers based on individual clinical setting.
