Position Overview We are currently hiring FULL-TIME transcriptionists based in Canada who can start immediately. These positions consist of 80-90% VR editing on the eScription platform. This position transcribes received dictations and provides data quality by ensuring compliance with standards and guidelines as set out by Xactscribe. This postion allows the candidate to work from home. Qualifications ? You MUST have at least 3 years RECENT acute care hospital experience with expertise in all work types, ESL experience is required. ? Typing speed must be at a senior skill level ? Proficient in the use of central dictation/word processing equipment ? Ability to work independently with minimal supervision ? Ability to work under pressure with time constraints ? Accuracy is essential ? Understanding of confidentiality principles Assets ? Completion of a post-secondary diploma in medical transcription ? Medical terminology certificate preferred Equipment requirements: Windows XP or Vista OS, DSL or cable internet connection, and Word 2003 or 2007.
