The Montreal Special Needs Foundation is a newly launched non-profit organization whose
mission is to ensure that every special needs child and their family receives the resources and
financial support towards their child's therapy, so that every child can reach his/her full potential.
Our organization is currently seeking a speech pathologist to start in March 2011. Candidates
must be English speaking and have worked with special needs pre-school children. Candidates
will be required to work from both the CLSC and neighboring schools. This position will be on
contractual bases only. Salary to be discussed.
Basic Requirements
 Master?s Degree in Speech-language Pathology or equivalent;
 Ability to provide counseling to patients, families, or other health care professionals;
 Superior judgment, initiative, and problem solving skills;
 Superior interpersonal skills;
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Preferred Qualification
 Proficiency in speaking and comprehending both English and French
 Field experience
