The CCNA certification guarantees an individual's networking skills at the foundation level. Candidates who pass proctored exams receive a CCNA certificate from Cisco and may use the designation on their business cards and a level of assurance to seek a position in the IT driven competant world.

This is a 5 day boot camp commencing Monday 16th June and held weekdays from 6 pm to 9.30 pm in Downtown Montreal. The language spoken would be english. The instructor is Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) and has an overall of 7+ years of industry experience with muli-vendor environment. The bootcamp includes detailed explanation on the core networking fundamentals, lab practice on configuration of networking devices, real life examples, assistance for the exam.

P.S. A repetition for next bootcamp would be provided free in case required, by candidate.

Upon completing this course, you will be able to meet these overall objectives:

1. Describe how networks function, identifying major components, function of network components, and the OSI reference model.
2. Describe issues related to increasing traffic on an Ethernet LAN and expand the switched network from a small LAN to a medium-sized LAN
3. Describe the reasons for extending the reach of a LAN
4. Configure and verify a Cisco router for WAN connections with HDLC and PPP encapsulation, PAT, static routing.
5. Use the command-line interface to discover neighbors on the network and manage the router start-up and configuration
6. Describe routing concepts as they apply to a medium-sized network, discuss dynamic routing with distance vector and link-state routing protocols, and configure RIP
7. Configure, verify and troubleshoot EIGRP and single-area OSPF
8. Determine how to apply ACLs based on network requirements, and configure, verify, and troubleshoot ACLs
9. Describe when to use NAT and PAT on a medium-sized network, how to configure NAT and PAT,
