Inaugurated in 2005, the Restaurant de l’Institut is located on Saint-Denis and can seat 60 guests in a spacious and airy setting. Its peaceful and cosy ambience, bathed in natural light, is heightened by a splendid view of Square Saint-Louis, which is located right in front, or of the legendary Plateau Mont-Royal.
Through its refined regional cuisine, prepared with the freshest Québec products, the Restaurant de l’Institut is a testament to the quality of the culinary training provided at the leading hotel school that is the ITHQ. The service staff’s know-how, particularly in terms of food and wine pairing, further enhances the patron experience.
During the week, the kitchen and dining room welcome ITHQ students who are nearing completion of their program and, under the vigilant eye of their professors, are putting into practice what they learned in class.
Inauguré en 2005, le Restaurant de l’Institut a pignon sur la rue Saint-Denis et compte 60 places assises dans un espace vaste et aéré. Son ambiance paisible et feutrée, baignée d’une lumière naturelle, s’agrémente d’une vue splendide sur le square Saint-Louis, situé juste en face, ou encore sur l’une des artères mythiques du Plateau Mont-Royal.
Par sa cuisine régionale haut de gamme, élaborée à partir de produits frais du Québec, le Restaurant de l’Institut sait faire honneur à la qualité de la formation culinaire donnée dans cette grande école hôtelière qu’est l’ITHQ. Le savoir-faire du personnel de service, notamment en matière d’accord mets et vins, ajoute à l’expérience gastronomique des clients.
Pendant la semaine, la cuisine et la salle à manger accueillent les étudiants de l’ITHQ en fin de programme qui viennent y mettre en pratique l’enseignement reçu en classe sous l’œil vigilant de leurs professeurs.
