Miss Edgar's and Miss Cramp's School - Montreal Private School

Private Schools List in Montreal

Founded in 1909, Miss Edgar's and Miss Cramp's School (ECS) is an independent, non-denominational girls' day school, which provides girls from Kindergarten to Grade 11 with an outstanding education. ECS houses three school divisions under one roof: a French-immersion Junior School for girls in Kindergarten to Grade 5; a Middle School for girls in Grades 6, 7, and 8, and a Senior School for girls in Grades 9, 10, and 11. Now in its third home, ECS is situated in the heart of historic Westmount, just minutes from downtown Montreal.
Through their extensive roster of teams, clubs, and committees, ECS student life promotes our girls' interest in their learning environment outside the formal walls of the classroom. Participation boosts the girls' self-confidence as well as providing opportunities to develop leadership skills and safely experiment with leadership roles in supportive environments.

ECS offer our girls challenging, fun, and exciting projects that can provide a meaningful framework for leadership training.
Their learning opportunities enable students to make positive contributions to school life, and to develop leadership skills and positive self-esteem. As well, they teach and encourage girls to challenge authority with respect and to learn how to effect change.
