Steel Panther is an American glam metal band from Los Angeles, California, mostly known for their profane and humorous lyrics as well as their exaggerated on-stage personae that parody the stereotypical "glam metal" lifestyle in the 1980s.
The glam rock band Steel Panther have just announced a headlining U.S. tour on the heels of their uber-successful UK run this spring. Steel Panther returns to the states after bringing their raucous show to UK audiences, selling out shows in London, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Wolverhampton, and Leicester. The music world was rocked when a baby was born at Wembley Arena during the band’s sold out headlining performance. “I’m 60% sure it’s not one of ours!” said Michael Starr, the band’slead singer. “We’re so proud to announce the first Panther being born into captivity,” lead guitarist Satchel added.
Hailing from Los Angeles, the epicenter for rock n’ roll in all its debauchery and glamour, Steel Panther have established themselves as the world’s premier party band, melding hard rock virtuosity with parody and criminally good looks. With three full-length albums, touring across the world, platinum-level You Tube status and high-profile television appearances such as Jimmy Kimmel Live, Larry King Now, and FOX NFL Sunday, the band is touring in support of their latest effort, All You Can Eat (Open E Records via Kobalt Label Services).
