Praised for her lyricism, the beauty of her voice, her rich timbre and her imposing stage presence, soprano Deborah is recognized as one of today's finest dramatic sopranos. She will be heard in arias from the German operatic repertoire with which she is often associated: excerpts from Beethoven's Fidelio, Wagner?s Tannhäuser and the final scene from Strauss?s Salome.
Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos will also lead the OSM in Rimsky-Korsakov's Sheherazade, which evokes a sense of the Thousand and One Nights, and the sparkling overture to Mozart?s Marriage of Figaro.
