On December 3rd 1999, B.A.R.F. gave their last concert before a sold-out show at the Metropolis in Montreal. After 14 years of touring, recording and releasing 4 full length albums the hardcore / metal group called it quits.
In 2014 and sixteen years after the release of the last album Catharsis, founding members, Marc Vaillancourt (vocals) and Denis Lepage (guitar), revive the project with a brand new album: BRULE, CONSUME, TORTURE. The original members are joined by two pillars of the Quebec metal scene, Carlos Araya (drums) and Dominique Lapointe (bass), the Montreal quartet delivers a debut album fully interpreted in French. With 40,000 albums sold and backed by more than 550 concerts, B.A.R.F. is ready to once again regain their place on the metal\hardcore scene.
