A true Montrealer at heart, the bard returns to present a new album, recorded here with local musicians—including co-producer François Lafontaine, keyboardist in Karkwa, Mishka Stein and Robbie Kuster (Patrick Watson)…Soleil dedans has already made its mark with a pair of singles—La caissière du superand De l’autre côté de la lune— revealing a turn towards pop with a perfect soupçon of the ’70s… and absolutely stunning vocals! The evening opens with the irresistible Ludovic Alarie and orchestral songs pitched somewhere between Patrick Watson and Air.
