Our client is well established banking client seeking a Reconciliation Clerk
Location: Montreal, QC
Duration: 3 months contract with strong possibility of extension


Job Description:

Summary:

This group is responsible for reconciliation activities of approximately 8000 customer accounts.
Process specialized transactions, inputting data in to an in-house system, looking for discrepancies as well as investigations and reconciliations. Provide a high level of customer service by interacting with personnel from various institutions to correct transaction/trading activity related issues concerning settlement of transactions. Perform other administrative functions as required.

Required skills:

- 1 to 4 years of reconciliations experience (absolute must)
- Accounting background (CFA would be ideal but not required)
- New Accounting graduates with the right attitude are welcome
- Expert level with Excel & Excel Macros
- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
- Bilingual preferred but not required (English is a must)
- Proactive thinker
- Attention to details
- Analytical
- Thrives in a fast paced environment
- Banking experience is an asset
