Dispatcher for a locksmith company

A family owned business, operating out of Southwest Montreal is looking for a permanent, full-time bilingual, well organized dispatcher. A minimum of 1 year experience as a professional locksmith dispatcher. Must have great customer service and communications skills, verbal and written in both official languages, English and French. Able to work independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment. Locksmith experience preferred but not necessary. Must be reliable and punctual. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have knowledge of the city of Montreal and its surrounding areas
Answering all incoming phone calls, take messages and alert recipients as necessary
Scheduling service calls for technicians and scheduling time for technicians to do estimates within a reasonable time.
Schedule appointments and keep the office updated on upcoming appointments for the day/week
Verifying that stock is well prepared for technician jobs.
Verifying that technicians’ bills are error free after they have been handed in.
Write basic letters/memos/correspondence and/or modify existing letters
Maintain working knowledge of phone systems, computer software, printing and scanning. Have experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
Keeping team leader informed of your pending jobs, and any/all problems with technicians and customers.
