My client is well-established major bank situated in Montreal, QC. They are looking for a Business Analyst Foreign Exchange/Banking Exp.
This is a 5 month contract position with a strong possibility of extension.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Banking Clients FX operations team. This role will require the selected candidate to work with existing project team to document processes, identify gaps, test and implement a net new technology solution and the supporting processes for the handling of FX CLS settlement.
The resource must have good general business analyst skills, especially knowledge of test plans, test cases and execution, knowledge of Foreign Exchange back office processes and the FX trade lifecycle. The Business Analyst will be responsible for assisting the Sr. Business Analyst with the following activities:
- Mapping and updating of process flows
- Documenting and assisting in the build of new process flows
- Completing gap analysis of delivered technology versus desired end state
- Reviewing and building test plans and test cases
- Participating in conversion planning, implementation and post-implementation support
- Murex
- MXG
Required Skills:
- Bachelors in Finance or equivalent work exp
