One of our well established banking client is looking for Bilingual Data Entry Clerk (Major Bank)
Location: Montreal, QC
Duration: 4 months contract with high possibility of extension.
Position: Data Entry Clerk
Hours of Work: 7.5 hours a day either 8:00am to 4:00pm or 8:30am-4:30pm
Job Description:
Read source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data in specific data fields for subsequent entry, using keyboards or scanners.
Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered.
Locate and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors.
Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors
Maintain logs of activities and completed work.
Perform other duties as assigned
Skills / Knowledge:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2 to 4 years related experience required
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage ones time.
Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information
Previous experience with different systems is an asset
