Alice refuses to do her homework. Preferring instead to spend her days playing and daydreaming, she hides away in her father?s study. A curious-looking rabbit soon comes along, hungry for novels. Hoping to stop the rodent from devouring all the books in the study, Alice chases him down into his burrow, where she discovers a fantastical new world?Wonderland?and meets such strange and fascinating characters as Humpty Dumpty the egg, a philosophical caterpillar, twins Tweedledum and Tweedledee, the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, and Sam, the Snark Hunter. An intriguing world where rabbits are tardy and quarrels make good friends...
